A Fresh Take On Rowing In The Hudson Valley.
The Orange County Rowing Association was founded to promote the sport of masters, youth, open, and adaptive rowing on the Hudson River and in Orange County. Rowing is not only a great workout, but is historically one of the first organized sports, and we would like to encourage all members of the community to participate!
Located on the scenic Hudson River we offer programs for all ages, ability, and experience levels. Our programs offer both competitive and recreational packages for both youth and adults. We look forward to continuing to make Orange County the premiere rowing venues in the Hudson Valley!

The Orange County Rowing Association is a community nonprofit dedicated to promoting the sport of rowing, development of the Hudson River, and overall improvement of quality of life in the Hudson Valley.

Each member of our coaching staff is a USRowing Certified Rowing Coach, with CPR/First Aid, and Motorboat Safety Certifications. We provide a safe rowing environment that will foster the growth of your rowing abilities.

Here at the Orange County Rowing Association we provide access to the sport of rowing regardless of race, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, or veteran status.

Newburgh Bay and the Hudson River Valley have a rich, yet long forgotten, rowing history. The Orange County Rowing Association wants to restore the Hudson Valley to its former glory as a competitive rowing mecca.

We want to make the sport of rowing accessible to all members of Orange County and the surrounding communities regardless of ability to pay. You do not need to be a part of a special school or program in order to be considered. We will work with you to explore all avenues of payment.

Through new programs, community outreach, informative lectures by area experts, and regattas held in the Newburgh Bay we hope to expose the people of Orange County to the competitive sport of rowing.
The Orange County Rowing Association plans on developing its Adult, Youth, and Adaptive Programs to become the premiere rowing venue in Hudson Valley. We look forward to bringing our fresh take on rowing to Newburgh, and all of Orange County!
